Wandering Letter
Wandering Letter is an interactive computational art piece that simulates the reading experience of individuals with ADHD through mouse interaction and AI-generated poetry.
Yet, these wandering letters also create a playful and dynamic experience, transforming distraction into interaction. As they move freely across the screen, reading itself becomes an exploration of both focus and fragmentation—finding meaning within disorder.
With each click, the screen displays a randomly generated poem exploring ADHD-related reading challenges. As the mouse (represented by a red circle) moves across the text, letters "a," "d," and "h" become distracted, drawn toward it, and begin to drift. Their absence leaves gaps in the poetry, making the text fragmented and harder to read.
